InTu Mobility to Speak about Cyber Secure Field Mobility Solutions at 2016 ROSS SIG Conference

Field Mobility Expert to Educate IT Leaders on How to Build a Secure Solution with Limited In-House Expertise

Fort Collins, Colorado (November 14, 2016) – Leading field mobility experts InTu Mobility today announced they will be speaking at the 2016 ROSS SIG Conference this week in Atlanta, Georgia. The fifty-five-minute session, titled “Creating a Cyber-Secure Field Mobility Solution with Limited In-House Expertise,” will address the growing concerns of cyber security, a reality that plagues businesses of all sizes, especially those with limited in-house expertise. The discussion will be led by InTu Mobility advisor and founder Tony Horling, and will focus on how well-designed field mobility solutions can help protect data collected in the field.

Creating a mobility solution for workers in the field can be complex. With the high turnover in IT, or companies operating with limited IT staff, most companies do not have the skilled resources in-house to research, evaluate, select, deploy or support a solution. Since the risk of implementing an inferior solution could have a negative impact on a company’s operation and bottom line, more businesses today are outsourcing complicated IT projects to appropriate technology experts.

“Today’s field mobility solution needs to factor in security more than ever before, since the question isn’t when attackers will compromise mobile devices and networks for a data breach, but how they’ll  attack enterprise mobility,” commented InTu Mobility founder and advisor Tony Horling. “Our clients turn to us to guide them through the processes of building a field mobility solution which can include: Direct Store Delivery (DSD), Proof of Delivery (POD), Routing and Route Accounting, Telematics and more. It’s hard to find professionals with this skillset, so businesses look outside of their organizations to find it.”

Attendees of the 2016 ROSS SIG Conference are made up of special interest users of Ross’s ERP software solutions, mostly IT professionals of organizations that work with recipes and formulas. Those attending InTu Mobility’s session on Wednesday, November 16, will review how new mobile technology features and functions will impact their current solution, how to design a field mobility solution that factors in future IoT, cyber security needs and where to start, and how to design a plan that requires less support from IT.
